Yard Ruler is free for personal and commercial use. Please do not use it for anything unlawful or try to disrupt the site.

The calculators give general-purpose planning estimates. They are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Results are not engineering, electrical, structural, surveying, or other professional advice.
Verify before you buy
Always verify measurements and quantities yourself before ordering materials, installing lighting, or relying on a result for construction or code compliance. Add a sensible margin for waste and site conditions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yard Socket LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, material costs, or project costs, arising from your use of Yard Ruler or reliance on its results. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is zero.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Yard Ruler will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
